Mr. Ayan Banerjee Mr. Arindam Chatterjee ......... for the petitioner Mr. Sandipan Banerjee Mr. Ankit Sureka ........... for the alleged contemnor By an order dated 18.01.2021 the Howrah Court No. 24 23.12.2021 (Item No. 264) (AB) Municipal Corporation was directed to take steps for clearing the dues of the petitioner within a specified time. It was recorded that if the bills were disputed the same shall be intimated to the petitioner immediately.

The Controller of Finance of the Howrah Municipal Corporation has passed a speaking order after hearing the petitioner and upon perusal of the bills produced by the petitioner. Howrah Municipal Corporation disputed the bills raised by the petitioner. A detailed speaking order has been passed and communicated to the petitioner by a communication dated 29th November, 2021.

As it appears that the respondents have passed a speaking order in compliance of the direction passed by the Court, accordingly, no further order is required to be passed in the contempt application.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps on receipt of the speaking order disputing his bills, if so advised.

CPAN 424 of 2021 stands disposed of.

The speaking order dated 29th November, 2021 is retained with the record.
