Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the evidence of the victim (PW 2). She stated petitioner had trafficked her across international border and kept her in his residence. He was also identified in court. Co-accused viz., Bablu Gazi @ Babul who is on bail was not identified by the victim in court.

Hence, petitioner does not stand on the same footing with Bablu Gazi @ Babul who is on bail. Keeping in mind this fact and the nature of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
