1. Appeal is directed against order dated April 4, 2025 passed in WPA 6317 of 2025.

2. The writ petitioner is the appellant before us.

3. It is contended on behalf of the appellant that, the appellant is a landlady. She is of an advanced age of 77 years. She is being harassed by the police authorities unnecessarily.

4. It is contended on behalf of the appellant that the learned Single Judge erred in holding that the disputes with regard to the immovable property are in the domain of the jurisdictional Civil Court or the

FMA 825 of 2025 Criminal Court. It is contended that, the Criminal Court does not possess jurisdiction over the subject matter.

5. There are inter se disputes between the appellant and her tenant. Such disputes are required to be addressed by the appropriate Courts. A Writ Court need not enter into such arena.

6. Learned Single Judge rightly noted the existence of the disputes between the private parties and permitted the private parties to resolve their disputes before the appropriate forum.

7. In the event any private party approaches a forum without jurisdiction, needless to say such issue may be raised before such forum and decided by it.

8. In light of the discussions above, there is hardly any necessity in interfering with the discretion exercised by the learned Single Judge.

9. We are not minded to interfere with the impugned order save providing to the extent that, the issue of jurisdiction of any of the Courts may be raised before such Court and decided in accordance with law.

10. FMA 825 of 2025 is dismissed without any order as to costs. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
