1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits as follows. The dispute that had led to the registration of the FIR have all been settled between the private parties. No charge of forgery was actually made out. It was alleged that the victim/de-facto complainant had been illegally removed as a Director. He has now been re-instated and the matter has been settled.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the de-facto complainant supports the contentions of the petitioners and submits that technically no charge of forgery is made out and the matter has been settled between the private parties.

3. Learned Public Prosecutor representing the State files a report, which is taken on record. He submits that the

de-facto complainant had come to the police station on 18.5.2025 and stated that he did not want to pursue the matter and that a settlement had been arrived at. His statement has been recorded.

4. In view of the settlement arrived at between the private parties of all disputes that had led to the registration of the FIR and in view of the fact that a charge of forgery is strictly not made out, I am inclined to quash the proceedings in respect of Serampore Police Station Case no. 98 dated 2.3.2025.

5. Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
