It is further submitted that there is hardly any progress in the matter since last rejection of bail by this court.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered materials on record including the statement of the victim boy. His statement is corroborated by injuries noted in the medical papers.

In view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein and as his prayer for bail was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
