Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the only material available against the petitioner is the statement of a co-accused.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report, which is taken on record, and submits that besides the statement of the co-accused, there are several criminal antecedents of the present petitioner. There are seven criminal cases against the petitioner being New Barrackpore PS Case No.56/19, 97/20, 98/20, 327/20, 255/24, 25/25 and 49/25.

At this stage, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that as per information slip for two other cases under the NDPS Act, the petitioner was granted bail.

In view of the innumerable cases in which the petitioner has been implicated, including under the NDPS Act and the materials available in the case diary, I do not find that this is a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. 6.

CRM(A) 1521 of 2025 is dismissed.
