Perused the report filed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South West Division, Kolkata, pursuant to the direction of this Court dated July 25, 2022. It appears that on the basis of the complaint filed by the petitioner, Thakurpukur Police Station Case No.201 dated July 27, 2022 under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been started against the alleged accused and the investigation is in progress.

Thus, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioner has been met and nothing further survives in this writ petition.

The writ petition is disposed of without any further orders.

This order shall not be construed as an expression of the Court with regard to the merits of the allegation made by the petitioner. The investigating agency shall act in accordance with law.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
