Mr. Manas Dasgupta, Learned Counsel, appears in support of the appellants/writ petitioners and files a Written Instruction in support of the prayer of the appellants that the appellants are not desirous to proceed further with this appeal.

Mr. Sengupta, Learned Senior Government Advocate, has no quarrel with the withdrawal of the appeal by the appellants.

Accordingly, the prayer for withdrawal of the appeal stands allowed.

However, Mr. Dasgupta submits that the direction of the Hon'ble Single Bench under challenge in this appeal dated 21st June, 2021 directing the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur to decide the representation of the appellant/writ petitioner dated 24th of February, 2021 within a time bound period, be followed.

MAT 594 of 2021 along with CAN 1 of 2021 stands thus dismissed as not pressed with the observation that the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur shall be entitled to proceed in terms of the order of the Hon'ble Single Bench as directed. All parties to act on a server copy of this order duly obtained from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
