Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners contends that the direct involvement of the petitioners has not been established in any manner whatsoever and seeks anticipatory bail for the petitioners.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that, as per the statement of the victim, clear allegations have been levelled against each of the petitioners.

It is found from the records, particularly the statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Puja Malakar (the complainant), that specific allegations have been made against all the petitioners. However, in view of the gravity of the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, CRM (A) 2418 of 2022 is rejected.
