Dutta, Ms. Debjani Sahu For the State Upon hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties, it is evident that the benefit of doubt can be extended for the present purpose in favour of the petitioner, inasmuch as the plinth of allegations on the score of the alleged suicide of the victim are against the husband of the victim and not against the present petitioners, who are the brother-in-law and the father-in-law of the victim respectively.

Hence, CRM (DB) 1428 of 2022 is allowed, thereby releasing the petitioners on bail on condition that the petitioners furnish a bond of Rs. 10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local for each of the petitioners, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kalyani, Nadia.

The petitioners shall not make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such person from disclosing the facts to any police

officer or the Court and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

The petitioners shall make themselves available, in the event so required, for the purpose of facilitating investigation and shall attend the trial when the same commences.
