Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

The petitioner seeks intra-district transfer within South 24 Parganas on the ground of disability and distance. The petitioner joined in the year 1985 in S.C. category. Sometime in the year 2022 the petitioner was diagnosed with locomotor disability of 65 per cent. 3.

The petitioner applied for transfer in the year 2024 from Pathar Pratima Circle to Kulpi II Circle, inter alia, on the ground of distance.

In those circumstances, the Chairman, DPSC, South 24 Parganas shall consider the petitioner's application for transfer given the fact that he is 65 per cent disabled within six weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.

If necessary, the Chairman, DPSC, South 24 Parganas may reverify the disability of the petitioner from the concerned CMOH. The preferred school indicated by the petitioner or any school nearby subject to availability of vacancy may be considered by the Chairman, DPSC, South 24 Parganas.

Let the aforesaid exercise be carried out offline and a decision in this regard be communicated to the petitioner forthwith thereafter.

Let a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition be served on the DPSC, South 24 Parganas.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
