Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer or anticipatory bail.
We have considered materials on record including the statement of witnesses disclosing role of the petitioner in the affairs of the company which was unauthorizedly inviting deposits from the public and misappropriately the said monies. In view of the gravity of offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
