The petitioner complains that the information which was furnished with Tarakeswar Police Station was not acted upon. Consequently the present writ petition has been preferred before this Court.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Tarakeswar Police Station Case No. 162 of 2025 dated 05.05.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS, 2023. Having regard to the steps taken by the police authorities, at this stage no further interference is called for. The investigating officer is directed to take the investigation of the case so registered to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 10078 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
