It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case and he is languishing in custody for nearly 165 days.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered the materials in the case diary and considering the gravity of the offence and the extent of prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime, we are of the opinion that the petitioner is not entitled to be enlarged on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. CRM (DB) 1440 of 2022 is dismissed.
