This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner along with his mother, seeking a new electricity connection. However, as previously noted in the order passed in WPA 8373 of 2025, neither the petitioner nor his mother is currently residing at the relevant premises.

In view of this, I am not inclined to entertain the present writ petition, which seeks an electricity connection in their favour. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for WBSEDCL that the other three brothers of the petitioner are already availing of the electricity connection.

Accordingly, WPA 10067 of 2025 is dismissed.

It is, however, clarified that should the petitioner take possession of the property in the

future, he is at liberty to apply for a new electricity connection.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
