This matter relates to non-inclusion of the petitioner in the interview list.
The petitioner has pleaded that the candidates who have secured lesser marks than the petitioner have been included in the interview list while the petitioner has not been included there. For demonstrating this he has added Mr. Debasish Pradhan as respondent no. 15 in this matter. This matter relates to an interview list published on 21st June, 2021. This writ application has been affirmed on 28th June, 2021.
In a similar matter in WPA 10789 of 2021 (Abhijit Ghosh -Vs.- The State of West Bengal & Ors.) this court passed an order granting liberty to the candidates to approach the Commission by filing representation ventilating their grievances individually and not collectively. Certain directions were also given to the Commission for dealing with such representations. The Commission pursuant to the earlier order of this court
in the said matter had published one new interview list on 8th July, 2021.
There is no allegation of the petitioner in respect of the said subsequent interview list and no supplementary affidavit also have been filed for bringing any discrepancy in the said interview list before this court. This writ application has been filed against a non-existent interview list.
I do not find any merit in this writ application and the writ application is dismissed with a cost of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees two thousand only) to be paid by the petitioner to the High Court Legal Services Authority within a period of two weeks from date. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
