Learned counsel for the State submits that in respect of the complaint dated 4th May, 2021 filed by the petitioner, Minakhan Police Station has registered an FIR and has transferred the same to the Jagatballavpur Police Station. The matter is under investigation.

Jagatballavpur Police Station is, therefore, directed to complete investigation as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order and file a final report/charge sheet before the Jurisdictional Magistrate. A copy of such report be made available to the petitioner.

Instructions received by the Office of the Government Pleader from the Officer-in-Charge, Minakhan Police Station, Basirhat P.D. dated 20.07.2021 be kept with the record. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
