Mrs. Faria Hossain, Ms. Baisali Basu ....for the State Police complaint was lodged within two years of marriage. Apparently, the victim committed suicide. She was pregnant.

There are statements of neighbours implicating the petitioner in meting out torture and demanding dowry from the victim and her paternal family.

Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

CRM (A) 1810 of 2023 is rejected.
