Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appearance may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The grievance of the petitioner is that Criminal Misc. Case No.587 of 2022 which is an application for cancellation of bail is pending before the learned District and Sessions Judge, Howrah since the year 2022. The said case arises out of Bally Police Station Case No.72 of 2021 dated 14.04.2021.

Having regard to the fact that the application for cancellation of bail has been pending for a considerable period of time, I direct the learned sessions court to dispose of the same within a period of 60 days from the date of communication of the order by issuing notices upon all the affected parties. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1617 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
