The petitioner has raised objection with regard to hawkers in front of premises No. 112, College Street, Ward No. 47, Borough - VI of the Corporation. The Court has been made aware of the fact that the Town Vending Committee of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has already published a notice in its website inviting suggestions/ recommendations or objections, if any, from the citizens of Kolkata with regard to the finalization of vending and no vending zones in the streets of Kolkata under the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The petitioner is given liberty to forward a complaint in the address as mentioned in the notice published by the Corporation on 20th January, 2024. The objection of the petitioner shall be taken up for consideration by the Town Vending Committee at the time of finalization of vending and no vending zones. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
