Mohammed Shah Fahad v. The State Of West Bengal And ORS.
22.05.2025 WPA 10140 of 2025 Sl.No.
Court No. 35 Mohammed Shah Fahad -VsThe State of West Bengal & Ors.
G.S.Das Mr. Chandrachur Chatterjee Ms. Rubab Fatma ... for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Tanmay Kumar Ghosh, ld. Sr. Govt. Adv.
... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, for the present, the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred has been subserved.
State has submitted a report which encloses a communication made to the Officer-in-charge of Beniapukur Police Station. The contents of the communication reflect that the original Passport and a sum of Rs.20,000/- have been received by the petitioner.
Having regard to such fact and the submissions advanced by the learned advocate for the petitioner that presently he has instruction not to proceed with the
present writ petition, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.
Accordingly, WPA 10140 of 2025 is disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
