Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

It is contended petitioner was released on bail but due to miscommunication, he was unable to appear before the court below and warrant of arrest was issued. He was subsequently arrested. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had absconded for more than four years.

In view of the conduct of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
