The Investigating Officer, Special Branch, CBI has filed a report dated April 4, 2023.

The report has been considered. Lapses have been found in the investigation by the Rajarhat Police Station.

This Court is not inclined to keep the report on record as it may prejudice further investigation by the CBI. The report is resealed and is return back to the CBI.

It is ordered that the investigation by the CBI shall be completed mandatorily and positively, within a period of 2 months from date.

The petitioner may apply for any protection before the CBI and any directions of the CBI either to the State police or any third agency shall be strictly complied with.

Let the copy of the CD in the Court's records be given back to the CBI for being given back to the State.

7.

The writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
