Mr. Jayanta Bhattacharya Mr. Fazlul Haque ..for the petitioner The petitioner was appointed as a Lecturer in Chemistry on ad hoc basis at Murshidabad College of Engineering and Technology by a letter dated April 30, 2005.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made various representations before various authorities seeking promotion and other financial benefits in service. The said prayer has not been considered.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has drawn attention of this Court to an "order" dated March 2, 2023 whereby the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the College observed that the petitioner is entitled to get the financial benefit in the pay scale of Rs.37,400/- -67,000/- with annual Grade Pay of Rs.9,000/- including all other admissible allowances with effect from October 24, 2019. Learned advocate

for the petitioner submits that no steps have been taken in terms of the aforesaid "order" issued by the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the college. Respondents are not represented.

In the aforesaid facts, I dispose of this writ petition granting liberty upon the petitioner to make a representation before the Principal of the college ventilating his grievance within a period of three weeks from date. If such representation is made, the Principal of the college shall consider the same in accordance with law within a period of one month thereafter. Accordingly, WPA 11068 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
