Inspector-in-charge, Tapan Police Station has submitted a report dated 3rd July, 2021 in the form of instructions to the learned Counsel for the State. The same is taken on record.

The writ petitioner complains that the private respondents have ransacked his house, in which his tenants were residing and threw them out.

It is submitted that the private respondents removed a fence surrounding the house and put a padlock thereon.

A complaint in this regard is stated to have been lodged with the Tapan Police Station, Dakshin Dinajpur.

It is submitted that the petitioner and the private respondents entered into an "Apasnama

Bantan" amicably settling all the disputes between them. It is also submitted that proceedings under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been taken out and both the parties have been directed to maintain peace in the area.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client was forced to sign the said Apasnama Bantan. No complaint has been filed in support of his submissions.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
