Appeal No.4 of 2019 by the learned District Judge, South 24-Parganas, the IC, KLC Police Station was directed to ensure compliance of the order of the court dated 8th January, 2019. There was delay in compliance with the order.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the State that after initial delay, the said police station has complied with the order of the court and has submitted a report to this effect before the learned District Judge, South 24-Parganas. This Court notes that there may have been some delay on the part of the KLC Police Station in complying with the order of the learned District Judge. Since steps have infact been taken subsequently, this Court directs the Officer-in-charge, KLC Police Station to strictly comply with the order of the learned District Judge passed in Misc. Appeal No.4 of 2019 and to ensure that the order dated 8th January, 2019 of the said court is complied with and that there is no breach of peace in the said area. The status quo as regards the property in question as on 1st October, 2019 shall be ensured.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
