Versus

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Golam Mahammad ...for the Petitioner.

Mr. Swapan Kumar Pal ...for the State-respondents.

Pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, Haridevpur Police Station Case No.142 dated June 1, 2022 under Sections 114/341/506/323/504 of the Indian Penal Code was registered. The investigation is going on. The learned Executive Magistrate, Alipore also passed an order in MP Case No.2008 of 2022 directing the police authorities to ensure that no breach of peace takes place in the locality over the dispute between the petitioner and the respondent Nos.5 to 7. The order of the learned Executive Magistrate was communicated to the parties. The police report is taken on record.

As the police authorities have already taken steps, no order is required to be passed, save and except, that the investigation, which has been stated, should be reached to its logical conclusion, within a period of three months in a free, fair and independent manner.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
