Learned Additional Solicitor General of India has placed before this Court a communication dated July 29, 2025 issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Freedom Fighters Division mentioning that the case of the petitioner for issuance of fresh PPO for grant of SSS family pension is under active consideration. As and when documents from the stakeholder are received by the Ministry, the pension of the petitioner would be sanctioned.

Copy of the letter dated July 28, 2025 addressed to the petitioner by the Freedom Fighters Division mentioning the necessary documents to be

furnished by her for sanction of pension in her favour is handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to take steps in response to the communication made by the Freedom Fighters Division in its communication dated July 28, 2025.

On receipt of the necessary documents, the authority shall issue the PPO in favour of the petitioner at the earliest.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
