In terms of the order passed by this Court dated January 15, 2026 Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the State has handed over a report wherein it reveals that Shri. Indranil Mukhopadhyay, Additional Secretary (PHP), Department of Health and Family Welfare is nominated as member of the District Mental Health Review Board, Kolkata by an order dated February 9, 2026.

2. Considering the report submitted by the State, this Court finds that now the State of West Bengal has constituted committee in terms of Section 74 of the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017. Thus the Chairman is requested to immediately convey the meeting and to consider the case of the petitioners within a period of four weeks from date.

3. WPA 10195 of 2025 is disposed of.

4. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
