None appears in support of the instant revisional application, though Ms. Ganguly learned advocate appear on behalf of the opposite party. She undertakes to file vokalatnama in course of tomorrow. She submits that she is yet to receive a copy of the instant revisional application in terms of the direction passed by this Court on 7th January 2025.

Records reveal that on 7th January, 2025, the petitioner had expressed his readiness and willingness to make payment of the monthly alimony as directed by order dated 3rd April 2024 without prejudice to his rights and contentions in the aforesaid revisional application. Having regard thereto, by order dated 7th January 2025 this Court had directed the petitioner to serve a copy of the instant revisional application on the opposite party and to place before this Court a cheque amounting to Rs.4,00,000/- drawn in the name of the opposite party when the matter is taken up next.

Despite the aforesaid, the petitioner has not complied with the direction of this Court.

The petitioner is, however, not represented in Court today, having regard thereto, the revisional application being C.O. 1406 of 2024 is dismissed for default.
