The petitioner is in custody for about seven months and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that charge sheet has been submitted and further detention of the petitioner is not required for the purpose of further investigation which has not been prayed for.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered material on record. The petitioner happens to be a Deputy General Manager of Durgapur Steel Plant. Allegation against him is that he siphoned money amounting to Rs.3.00 crores and odd by creating fake accounts and has duped the company. Bail prayer of the

petitioner was turned down by this Court as recently as on February 06, 2025. Allegations are extremely serious in nature. There is no change in circumstances of the case which warrants a favourable order for the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The bail application is disposed of.
