Report submitted by the opposite party is taken on record. The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of G.R. 3576 of 2009 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Barrackpore.

It appears from the report submitted by the C.B.I. that out of 18 witnesses, 14 witnesses have been examined and 2 witnesses have expired. Only two investigating officers are yet to be examined.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to dispose of the case pending before him within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, CRR 1635 of 2024 is disposed of.
