The petitioner complains of inaction of the police authorities of Dakhineswar Police Station.

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent nos.4 to 6 submits that multiple proceedings are pending at the instance of the respondent no.4 against the husband of the petitioner.

Records do not reveal that the petitioner had approached the Officer-in-Charge, Dakhineswar Police Station. On the other hand, a representation was filed before the Joint Commissioner of Police.

If the petitioner files any complaint before the police authority, the police authority shall act and proceed in accordance with law in a free and fair manner. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
