Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction against the respondent No. 3 to remove unauthorized construction by the private respondents nos. 6 to 19.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that they have made a representation dated 6th February, 2024 to the Assistant Engineer, Kakdwip Highway SubDivision, PWD, Government of West Bengal (respondent no.3).

Learned counsel for the respondent no. 3 states that they shall decide the representation dated 6th

February, 2024 of the petitioner within a time bound manner.

In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent No. 3, this Court directs the respondent No. 3 to decide the representation dated 06.02.2024 by way of a speaking order after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners as well as private respondents within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.

In view of the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
