Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the representation made to the Inspector-in-Charge, Bhadreswar Police Station on 15.01.2025 was not acted upon. Petitioner complains of physical and mental torture at the behest of the private respondent no.5.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that a thorough enquiry has been conducted. The information which was complained of relate to lastly of October, 2024, which was of physical assault but the same was by a different person.

Having considered that although the petitioner has made accusations against the private respondent no.5, but police on enquiry has failed to find out any cogent ground.

Learned advocate for the respondent no.5 submits that since the respondent no.5 had scolded the petitioner because of his association with certain individuals, the police complaint has been lodged against him.

Be that as it may, since police report do not reflect till date any cognizable offence being made out at the behest of the private respondent no.5, I am of the view that hardly there is any scope for interference. However, the police authorities would oversee that there is no untoward incident resulting from the present strained relationship between the petitioner and the private respondent no.5.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 10246 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
