The petitioners are all untrained candidates, they participated in the 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for Recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Upper Primary Level of Schools.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that the commission has not disclosed how many trained candidates and untrained candidates had participated in the said selection test.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no. 1 has applied before the Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission under Section 6(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, on April 05, 2023, the said application is appearing at page 156 of the writ petition being Annexure - 'P11' to have the informations mentioned therein, but the same has not yet been replied.

Ms. Dubey, learned counsel for the commission submits that none of the untrained candidates have been appointed in the said selection test, however, reply to the application of the petitioner no. 1 under the Right to Information Act, 2005 shall be given. The commission is directed to reply to the queries sought for by the said application as expeditiously as possible.

W.P.A. 10256 of 2023 is disposed of with the above direction without any order as to costs.

In view of the disposal of the main matter, the connected application, being I.A. No : CAN 1 of 2023 is also disposed of accordingly.
