1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Petition is filed seeking direction upon the concerned respondent authorities for transfer of the petitioner from one school to another.

3. Learned advocates representing the parties submit that petitioner on being selected in 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for classes XI and XII was appointed in the post of Assistant Teacher. However, selection process i.e. 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for classes IXX and XI-XII has been set aside by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide judgment dated 3rd April, 2025 passed on civil appeal arising out of Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. 9586 of 2024 (State of West Bengal vs. Baishakhi Bhattacharyya (Chatterjee) & Ors.).

4. In view of cancellation of the selection process i.e. 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for

classes IX-X and XI-XII no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

5. Writ petition stands dismissed.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
