Petitioner is aggrieved by certain actions of the Inspector-in-Charge, Kandi as well as petitioner being brutally assaulted by some masked persons who fled away after assaulting him, in their motor cycles. To that effect, information was furnished on 6th April, 2025.

State submits a report. Report reflects that Kandi P.S. Case No.158 of 2025 dated 06.04.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS. The present report which has been submitted on behalf of the State has been prepared by the SDPO Kandi, Murshidabad Police District.

Presumably, since there are allegations against the Inspector-in-Charge, the SDPO Kandi, Murshidabad will act as the investigating officer of the case. If any inconveniences are faced by the petitioner, the same be brought to the notice of the SDPO, Kandi. The investigating officer thereafter would deal with the same in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 10243 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
