Mr. Kollol Kumar Basu, learned advocate, appears for the petitioner and submits that he has already handed over documents relating to Aadhaar Card and PAN Card. The petitioner is in custody for about 74 days and, according to the learned advocate, investigation has concluded and charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Mr. Datta, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits a report before this Court.

Let the same be kept with the record.

This Court categorically asked the learned advocate for the petitioner as to whether there is any Epic Card or Voter Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India. To which the learned advocate replied that he has no instructions regarding the

availability of such Epic Card.

In view of the aforesaid, I am of the opinion that the petitioner has failed to make out a case for being released on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the process of trial and complete the trial within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.

The Investigating Officer of the case is present in Court today. His further appearance before this Court is dispensed with. CRM (SB) 112 of 2022 is, thus, disposed of.
