Mr. Binoy Kumar Panda, learned advocate, and Mr. Pratick Bose, learned advocate, who usually appear on behalf of the State, are present in Court. They are requested to appear on behalf of the State in this matter. Their appointment may be regularized by the learned Public Prosecutor of this Court.

Learned lawyer on behalf of the State appears and submits that the petitioner is not taking steps since 25-092012. He refers to the prayer of the revisional application as well as the certified copy of the order impugned. On a careful perusal of the order passed on 15-032011 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge as well as the order of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Krishnagar, Nadia, I find that learned Additional Sessions Judge lodged a complaint before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Krishnagar, Nadia against the petitioner for taking cognizance of the offence for giving false evidence within the meaning of Section 193 of the Indian Penal Code. Accordingly, learned Chief Judicial Magistrate took cognizance of offence and granted bail to the petitioner.

After careful perusal of the order impugned, I find no illegality or irregularity in the order itself. So, I am not inclined to interfere with the order impugned.

The revisional application and the connected application stand dismissed.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Krishnagar, Nadia, through the learned Registrar, Judicial Service, of this Court for taking necessary steps in respect of offence under Section 193 of the Indian Penal Code.
