The petitioner has challenged a show cause notice dated March 17, 2023. During the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner was dismissed from service with effect from May 1, 2023.

Mr. Majumder, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the writ petition was filed on April 25, 2023 and served upon the authorities concerned on April 26, 2023.

Despite service, the order of dismissal was passed when the Court was in seisin of the matter. Since the final order of dismissal has already been passed, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present writ ptition.

In the circumstances hereinabove, WPA 10251 of 2023 is dismissed as not pressed.

Liberty is given to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings, if so advised.

A copy of the written instructions handed over in Court today by the respondents is retained with the records.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.
