1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. In spite of repeated service of notices upon the authorities of Sarishadanaga Dr. Shyama Prasad High School being respondent nos. 6 and 7 (hereinafter referred as 'said school') said school authorities are not represented today.

It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that an application in prescribed proforma seeking transfer on the ground of distance was made on 18th March, 2025 but till date said school authority has not issued 'no objection' as a result thereof steps could not be taken by the District Inspector of School (SE) Nadia being respondent no. 5 for processing transfer application of the petitioner.

Attention of this Court has been drawn to memo dated 21st March, 2025 issued by the respondent no. 5 whereby petitioner was intimated that transfer application of the petitioner needs to be routed through school authorities. It is also stated in memo dated 21st March, 2025 that Utsashree Portal was temporarily suspended vide memo dated 31st December, 2024.

Since petitioner has submitted application for transfer in prescribed proforma on 18th March, respondent nos. 6 and 7 are directed to take decision whether petitioner is eligible to get 'no objection' for transfer by 7 (seven) days from the date of communication of this order. If respondent nos. 6 and 7 decide to issue 'no objection' in favour of the petitioner same shall be forwarded to the respondent no. 5 by 7 (seven) days thereafter. In the event respondent no.

receives 'no objection'

from respondent nos. 6 and 7 transfer application shall be processed in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible by the said respondent no. 5.

6. It is made clear while taking decision whether 'no objection' to be issued in favour of the petitioner or not by respondent nos. 6 and 7 suspension of portal cannot be a ground to refuse 'no objection'.

7. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
