1. Respondent in an original application seeks expeditious disposal of such original application pending before the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal.

2. State and the original applicant before the learned tribunal are represented. None of the respondents in the present writ petition opposes the prayer for early disposal of the original application before the learned tribunal.

3. Learned advocate appearing for the original applicant submits that despite directions, the writ petitioner herein did not submit any affidavit-inopposition to the original application.

4. Affidavit-in-opposition by the State and the writ petitioners may be filed within four weeks from date.

5. The original application is pending since 2022.

6. In such circumstances, we request the learned tribunal to hear and dispose of OA 862 of 2022 (LRTT) as expeditiously as possible and preferably within six months from date.

7. Learned tribunal is requested not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties.

8. WPLRT/73/2025 is accordingly disposed of without any order as to costs.
