The petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which the proceedings under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are progressing before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bonganon, District North 24 Paraganas.

Record reflects that the case was initiated in the year 2017 and for various reasons the said proceedings could not arrive at its final conclusion.

In view of the submissions so advanced by the learned advocate for the petitioner/wife, I direct that the learned trial court to fix at least one date every week on and from 1st July, 2022 so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

In view of the proceedings pending for almost five years, all efforts must be taken to complete the trial of the case within a period of 90 days from 1st July, 2022.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1843 of 2022 is disposed of.

All pending applications, if any, in connection with the revisional application, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
