The petitioner has been serving as an Assistant Teacher in the subject 'English' at the Nayasukh Lakshmi Narayan Sinha Memorial High School, Jafarganj, Farakka, Jangipur, District-Murshidabad since 24th September, 2018. The petitioner applied for general transfer, prior to completion of five years on medical grounds since the petitioner himself is disabled and also the petitioner's wife is suffering from gynaecological disorder.

Since Utsashree Portal will not accept such application, the petitioner has addressed a communication directly to the Secretary of the School

Education Department, Government of West Bengal and the Commissioner of School Education.

In that view of the matter, the Secretary, School Education Department shall consider the petitioner's application for transfer after taking an opinion on the veracity of the ailment suffered by the petitioner's wife from the Chief Medical Officer, Health of the concerned District.

Let a decision be taken on the petitioner's application for transfer by the Secretary, School Education Department within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
