The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-supply of an electricity connection. The petitioner seeks directions on CESC Limited to provide a new connection to the premises of the petitioner by installing a new meter.

Pursuant to an earlier order of Court, the CESC Limited has filed a Report dated 20th May, 2026. It transpires from the Report that without installation of a transformer it is technically impossible to provide the kind of connection, which the petitioner desires.

In view of the above, WPA 10767 of 2026 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to take necessary steps in accordance with law, if so advised.
