WPA 9770 of 2022 Rumki Ghosh & Ors.

Vs.

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharyya, Sr. Advocate Mr. Bikram Banerjee Mr. Sudipta Dasgupta Ms. Dipa Acharyya Mr. Arka Nandi .......For the Petitioners Mr. L. K. Gupta, Sr. Advocate Mr. Ratul Biswas .......For the Board Mr. Sauvik Nandy .......For the NCTE Mr. Bhaskar Prasad Vaisya Mr. Arindam Chattopadhyay .....For the State Mr. Gupta, learned senior advocate appearing 08.06.

Ct. No.17 on behalf of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education has submitted that D.El.Ed. Examination for the Session 2019-2021 is not complete as Part-II Examination which includes practical teaching has not yet been completed. Practical teaching will start after reopening of the school and in all probability from 16th June, 2022 or thereafter after completion of the practical teaching the result of D.El.Ed.

Examination will be published in all likelihood in the month of July 2022 and thereafter one dedicated portal will be opened for intimating the candidates whether they have qualified in the D.El.Ed. or not. Thereafter the candidates have to apply for getting the

TET certificate.

Mr. Gupta has further submitted that in all likelihood before September, the next recruitment process would not be initiated because it requires a large number of steps to be taken by the different District Primary School Councils.

Therefore, from the submission of Mr. Gupta I find that all successful candidates need not be worried about participating in the next recruitment process for the post of primary teachers for want of their TET certificate. I believe in the meantime i.e. before initiation of the next recruitment process TET certificate would be granted to all successful candidates and they would be allowed to take part in the next recruitment process.

With the above observation, recording the submissions of the learned advocate for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, this writ application is disposed of.
