Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

The police case was registered within three years of marriage. Apparently, the victim committed suicide.

There are statements recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of neighbours who stated that the victim was tortured for dowry.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to them.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1828 of 2023 is dismissed.
