In spite of service of notice upon the petitioners they are not represented today. However, Hooghly Chinsurah Municipality is represented by learned advocates.

It appears vide order dated 18th April, 2023 passed in WPA 16582 of 2015 this Court directed both the writ petitions would be heard together one being WPA 8444 of 2015 and another being WPA 16582 of 2015. Accordingly, both the matters are appearing in today's cause list.

Adequate opportunity has been granted to the petitioners to be represented before this Court.

It appears that petitioners have lost interest in the fate of these two writ petitions. Accordingly, both the writ petitions stand dismissed. Interim order, if any stands vacated.

The notices along with postal slips filed by the learned advocate representing the Municipality

are taken on record.

Affidavit-in-opposition filed on behalf of Municipality in WPA 8444 of 2015 today is taken on record.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
