Petitioner made an application for transfer on 4th April, 2025 since petitioner is suffering from gynecological disorder.

Grievance of the petitioner is in spite of receipt of transfer application no steps have been taken by the authorities of Supapursuri High School, Paschim Medinipur being respondent nos. 7 and 8 and "No Objection" has not been issued for transfer of the petitioner.

Aforesaid school authorities are represented by learned advocate who submits that petitioner is

Assistant Teacher of English. It is submitted that petitioner is single teacher in the subject in the school and there is no teacher in English in higher secondary section in the school.

State respondents and West Bengal Central School Service Commission are represented by learned advocates.

Since petitioner has made an application for transfer on medical ground petitioner's transfer application needs to be processed and if petitioner is found to be a single teacher in the subject that will not create hindrance in processing the transfer application of the petitioner.

The Headmaster of the concerned school being respondent no. 8 is directed to obtain medical report from the concerned Block Medical Officer of Health within a period of four week from date of communication of this order after medical examination of the petitioner. Considering nature of ailment of the petitioner, if concerned Block Medical Officer of Health opines in the medical report that petitioner should avoid long distance journey in that event respondent no. 8 shall forward the transfer application of the petitioner within fortnight thereafter to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Paschim Medinipur being respondent no.4 for taking further steps.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
